Delivery

What is actual weight and volumetric weight?

Actual weight is a number a parcel obtains upon weighing out. Volumetric weight is a number calculated with a parcel dimensions.

The delivery price of a large but light parcel may be more expensive than of a smaller but heavier one. In most cases the volumetric weight is only slightly different from the parcel actual weight but there are exceptions as well. To make the volumetric weight to be as close to the actual weight as possible we try our best to pack the goods in parcels compactly if possible. This allows to fill a parcel and avoid any voids while savings on the shipping costs.
