What does the service include?

The Virtual address service includes receiving, storing and forwarding customers’ parcels. We offer 90 days of free storage. The delivery cost is calculated according to the current rates.


How it works

Customers place an order with an online store or eBay stating our warehouse address as the delivery address and their names as the Recipient. Even if a parcel is certified and requires a signature upon delivery we sign for it on your behalf and receive it.

Customers will be notified with an email and a free SMS notification after the order is delivered to our warehouse. All orders are managed by customers in their accounts in ‘My Warehouse’ section personally. After a customer forms a parcel for further shipment we pack the goods and issue a delivery invoice. Once the invoice is paid the parcel is sent over to the customer. They will receive a notification with the tracking number and a link for the online tracking.

Important! The service must be activated before using. Visit "Virtual Address" section in your account to proceed. The service activation is free.

Photos, detailed description of goods received, consolidation and other services for the orders

Unlike the Assisted purchase service the Virtual Address service does not include checking and describing of goods received at the warehouse. Once an order is delivered to our warehouse a customer is then notified of a sender's info (if any) and the order weight. A customer is notified via email and with free SMS to the customer's provided phone number. Consolidation, the check of goods, the contents description, the photos of goods and any other additional requests can be ordered through ‘My Orders’ section in the account. All of these services are optional and can be additionally ordered by a customer if necessary. Rates for these and other additional services can be found here.

Is it faster to receive goods using Virtual Address service or placing an order through Alfa.uk Assisted Purchase service?

If an order is placed through Alfa.uk Assisted Purchase service it is to be processed within 1 working day. There is also an option for an "urgent purchase" service for an order to be processed within 1 working hour.

You can purchase at any moment available when using virtual address service. An order is usually dispatched the next day after it is placed (this information is available at a store website in Delivery/Shipping section) .

How much does it cost to ship an order from the UK?

The cost of sending a purchase from the UK will be calculated individually based witch country you are shipping on, the weight and size of the parcel, as well as on the chosen courier service.

Do I need to inform that a parcel is going to be delivered to the warehouse?

If you decide to use our warehouse for the delivery of your parcel(s), it is not obligatory to inform us about parcels that are to arrive at our warehouse. Still that may be useful to upload your order tracking number on Virtual Address account section.

However, before using our address, a customer must open an account providing the full name during registration. Otherwise, we will not be able to identify who a parcel belongs to and it will be stored at our warehouse among unidentified parcels.

Can I make a refund of the purchase?

You can return the purchase to the seller. The cost of the return shipment is equal to £10 and is paid by the customer, if the return payment is not made by the seller.

How long does it take to deliver an order from the UK?

We cooperate with proven courier services - DPD, UPS, FEDEX, etc. The average delivery period is from 2 to 10 days.

Can a packed parcel be repacked once again?

Sometimes a parcel is already packed and is to be dispatched from Alfa.uk warehouse but a customer needs to repack it to change its contents. It is possible to carry out, however, the repacking of a ready for dispatch parcel is a paid service of £7. The repacking of a parcel under 2kg is £4.
