Due to the secession of Great Britain from the European Union, Alfa.uk expenses associated with the delivery of parcels through postal services have increased. Under the new regulations, it is necessary to indicate a particular customs code for each item in each parcel. The number of parcels with thousands of items that we ship every day force us to hire additional staff for this job. In addition to these expenses, there are also new payments related with payment to a customs broker, the purchase of special euro-pallets (pallets), and other costs. In this regard, we have no other choice but to increase the shipping cost. However, the increase will be as minimal as possible - 1-2 pounds for each package, depending on weight and delivery method. This price increase will take place on January 20 and will affect only those delivery methods which are going through postal services.
